A Little About Me

I have lived most of my life in Portugal; however I was not born there. I had friends and a lot of families living not far away from us. The best thing I loved about Portugal was the weather and the amazing beach. I was living in Lisbon and then I went to Algarve which was an amazing place to be at. I’ve always been an active person since Portugal. I moved to England when I was 12 years old and I did not know how to speak no English at all. Making friends in England was kind of hard when the only thing I could say was “hello”. Because I was an active person it didn’t take me long until I started to get involved in sports as there are so many different ones. Well getting involved on sports was good for me because I started to make friends and I found it easier to learn English that way. There were actually two different sports I was really into and they were football, basketball and swimming. I have always represented my high school in football matches and basketball games since year 9. I have also been in some swimming competitions. We were not as successful on basketball but we manage to win a few medals and tournaments in football.

Last year I attended this college and because I am a lot into sports I decide to go to some sport trials even thou I got told it would be hard to get a place in one of them because this college is suppose to be great at sports and have many people that have quality skills to individuals sports. I had made it into the basketball team in which I met some amazing people. Today I still go training with them and hopping I will still play in the basketball team this year. Also this year I am hoping to get back into swimming and start to do the life guard course at Marine Center in Great Yarmouth so after I can get an apart time job there.
